Parceru is built for people with hearing loss. It transcribes what's said in your browser meetings, optionally summarizes them with AI, and stores the result in your account if you ask it to. This page explains exactly what data Parceru collects and how it's used.

The short version

  • We capture meeting audio from your browser tab and send it to Deepgram for transcription. Audio is never stored on disk.
  • In 'Captions only' mode, nothing leaves your machine — no transcript saved, no AI processing.
  • In 'Captions + saved' mode, your transcript is stored under your Google account so you can search it later.
  • In 'Full AI' mode, we additionally send your transcript to Anthropic to generate notes, catch-up summaries, and answer questions across your meetings.
  • We never sell your data. We never use your meeting content to train AI models.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google's tokeninfo endpoint. We use these to identify your account and display your name in the app. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, or any other Google service.

When you start a capture, the audio stream from the active browser tab is sent to Deepgram for real-time transcription. We do not retain the audio. In privacy modes where transcript saving is enabled, the resulting text — including speaker labels — is stored in our database under your account.

When you use AI features (notes, panic button, mention context, across-meeting chat), the relevant transcript chunks are sent to Anthropic. Anthropic's API does not retain or train on data sent through it (per their commercial terms).

Third parties

Parceru uses the following sub-processors:

• Google (sign-in and identity) • Deepgram (audio transcription) • Anthropic (AI summaries, panic button, mention context, chat) • Cloudflare (hosting, database, vector search)

Each handles a narrow slice of your data and is contractually bound not to use it for their own purposes.

Your control

You can delete any meeting from inside the notes app. Deletion is propagated to our database within a few seconds. You can also delete your entire account by emailing andres@avillamizar.com; we will remove all stored transcripts, notes, and account metadata within 30 days.
